In the coming year...

Well here we are on the threshold of a brand new year. What a drag. I was just getting used to 2006. This past year has been eerily calm and quiet. Almost like the calm before the storm. I of course hope I'm wrong...but I'm usually not. I cant say what kind of storm but there is one coming...(political,social,economic, etc.) it could be any number of things. Be on the lookout and always remember that history has a way of repeating itself-especially when we refuse to learn from the lessons of the past. And you know that this country has a knack for forgetting it's lessons!

Here is my list of things I would like to see in 2007...

* GEORGE BUSH IMPEACHED! (i know it wont happen but one can dream...)

* The world pays as much attention to the human beings suffering and dying in countries
like Darfur and Malawi as they do to the oil in Iraq and Saudia Arabia (or at least as much
attention as someone as important as Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton gets). And speaking of
Ms. Hilton...

* I would like to see Brtiney Spears murder Paris Hilton. That get's them both out of the way for
good. (Actually what am I thinking..This is America! Britney would be bigger and richer than
ever! Murder is big business-especially in celebworld! Plus I mean it IS Paris Hilton she's
killing-would'nt be a jury in the country that would convict!)

* I would like to see Embryonic Stem Cell's potential realized

* A cure for AIDS...A Vaccine...SOMETHING!! HELLO PEOPLE!

* More Evangelical Christians caught in gaysex- drug scandals. YOU KNOW there are plenty
more in the back of that closet! I would love to see Jerry Falwell caught with a 18 year old
Puerto Rican boy. I know the psychological damage to the boy after seeing him naked would
probably be irreversible but at least Falwell would be destroyed.

* The Fugees FINALLY come out with that damn reunion album!

* AIR FORCE ONE CRASHES WITH GEORGE BUSH ON BOARD! (if we cant impeach him this
is the next best thing - Secret Service: I AM NOT A TERRORIST NOR DO I HAVE ACCESS
TO AIR FORCE ONE DESTROYING EQUIPMENT! - just have to make that clear big
brother).

* And finally...Can we please finally get Paul a job in Europe...THANK YOU!
