The Downward Spiral

I first saw this a few years ago and it's quite shocking. It's very sad how you can see this woman's life deteriorating right in front of your eyes. I always wonder how her family and friends felt as they were seeing this happen right in front of their eyes. Or did they not even notice until it was too late (I'd say by picture 7)? I also wonder what happen to her.
