If GOD watched Survivor....

If GOD watched Survivor.... SO here I am posting again but where are the responses? I've talked to so many of you that are reading this but aren't responding to the blog. WHATS THAT ABOUT? I'm doing this not only to keep you all updated on my travels but also to get some serious conversation going on. It doesnt matter if you dont agree with what I'm saying. That's exactly why I'm doing this. I want people to disagree. I want there to be debate. I know alot of what I may say pisses off some of you. So then tell me about it! Give it you me baby... one more time! Alright, so there is alot to catch up on for all you slackers so get to it! That includes you to MOM! Let's talk about Sex. I bet that got your attention. Now that you're transfixed and eagerly waiting to hear what I'm going to say....let's actually talk about... God. LOOL. Got ya! See, that's what they should put on the front of every church in America "Sex Talk Tonight - 6pm service" , the pews would be packed! Of course we will need this disclaimer.."altar boys enter at your own risk". OOOOOOOOH. That's gotta be worth an extra few coals on the fire in hell for me. Anway...God. What does that word really mean? Despite being the reason why millions of people will start wars for or kill thousands for, does the word really have meaning? For almost 2,000 years most of the world has believed in only one God. But what God that is apparenlty differs depending on what part of the world you live in. For Muslims it's Allah, for Jews it's Yahweh, for Christians it's Jesus or God , for certain Catholics it's Mary, and for Republicans it's Ronald Reagan. The thing that always amused me though is that we are all fighting under the banner of the same GOD that is also the GOD of our enemies. So we're essentially fighting with GOD to destroy GOD. Somewhere GOD and his inner circle are watching us and laughing at us like we're a bunch of idiots on Survivor. We are heavens reality show that angels stand around the water cooler (Fiji water only) and ridicule each morning. Don't think your secret silent deadly fart from last week didnt get noticed. They were talking about that up there for weeks! You were all over the magazine covers! "Smelled like stale barbeque chips" So does GOD have any meaning. IF GOD is GOD to christians and If Allah is arabic for GOD and Yahweh is Hebrew for GOD why are their so many problems between us? We all have the same goal in mind. My belief is that GOD is just the rallying cry. It's not really why we do the things we do. We're not fighting a war to defend "God and Country", we're fighting a war to maintain our use and abuse lifestyle. Osama Bin Laden isn't fighting a war in the name of Allah or the Koran, he's a mass murderer hiding behind a sacred book to make it look like something else. He's no different from Ted Bundy or Jeffery Dahmer. We're not against homosexuality because GOD says so, we're against it because someone else has taught us it's wrong. The bible doesn't say anything about homosexuality being a sin. Man made that a sin, probably because some pissy priestess was fucked over by his boyfriend both literally and figuratively. So he decided to make it a sin. (Kidding of course but you get the picture). I could go on and on..but the bottom line is GOD is what we make it. GOD can and does mean a million different things to a million different people. and that's okay and actually it's beautiful. In the end it's all comes down to wanting to live in harmony with each other and respect the world given to us. Isn't that the ultimate teaching from every major religion in the world. Does how you get to that understanding really matter that much? Whether you get through Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha , or on your own. Just get there! And if you do choose to try to get there by way of Ronald Reagan don't come crying to me when you find yourself buring in a lake of fire. P.L.U.R FUCK GEORGE BUSH! Ok, I'm here and I'm going to tell you what I think. The things I was taught in Catholic school was a bunch of crap... I never even learned about the bible until I was in my thirties. What they taught us then was what their perception of the bible was and I resent that. Everyone should read the bible and make their own perception of what it is telling us. And I agree with you that I did'nt see anything in there about homosexuality being a sin. I also did'nt see anything in there about suicide being a sin. When my brother died the church or the perverted priest that perform the funeral service treated my brothers funeral like a criminal trial. My brother was a very caring person that would never hurt anyone and he had a big heart. Yet the priest (who was later arrested for molesting alter boys) had the nerve to judge my brother. Man, I HATED THAT SON OF A BITCH FOR A LONG TIME. But you know what, I am going to leave it up to Him. Anyway, I believe in God, because sometimes I just feel He is there listening to me cry, moan and groan. One question I ask God alot is...What the hell did I do to deserve such a great son?
